Dissolution is about the ghosts of what we carry and the choice to endure. Dark blue and violet forms gather at the lower edge while traces of crimson remain embedded within them, remnants of experiences that have not disappeared but have begun to lose their hold. Above, the forms dissolve into a luminous field, suggesting memory becoming less fixed and making space for what comes next.

Part of the Dissipation & Endurance series, the painting is built through transparent acrylic layers over textured gesso. The surface was repeatedly layered, sanded, and excavated to expose earlier passages and buried color. No opaque white paint was used. Light emerges through transparent glazes and exposed lower surfaces.
