Erosion considers how some events can erode a former sense of self. Some parts disappear, others remain, and fragments resurface unexpectedly. What emerges is not a return to who we were, but a self permanently changed.

I do not use white or black paint. Instead, glazed layers of blue, violet and red bring light and depth to the gessoed canvas.
