Frequency 2 (Vertical Drift) begins at a point of disturbance that does not fully resolve. A narrow horizontal rupture cuts through a dense red field, where ultramarine, indigo, and cobalt enter and begin to dissipate. What starts as intensity shifts into dispersal, thinning as it moves outward across the surface.

The surface pulls upward through layered pigment and areas of erosion, creating a slow vertical drift. The seam remains visible as traces of color spread and fade, where something once concentrated continues to linger without fully disappearing.
