Undertow explores the quiet and the turbulent, the visible and the buried, the beauty and the darkness.

Not everything needs to be resolved to belong.

I do not use white or black paint. Instead, translucent glazes of blue, indigo, violet, and red create depth and luminosity over the gessoed canvas.
