Color Fields, Fracture & Disappearance
This body of work explores moments of emergence, fracture, compression, and disappearance within expansive fields of color, exploring suppressed emotion, fracture, and resilience through charged fields of saturated color. Built through layered acrylic, glazing, and selective removal, each painting is constructed and partially undone, allowing buried forms and ruptures to surface.
The paintings reflect how intensity builds and fractures, leaving traces that do not fully resolve. They move between atmosphere and structure, where calm remains unstable and dissolution is never complete. What remains is endurance, evidence of what persists under pressure.
